At Lifted Logic, we custom build all of our sites for our clients’ specific needs and goals. We will never use a template; you can be sure that any website we build is completely original.
Will they be outsourcing any of the work for the website?
When a company outsources work, it makes it more difficult for you to work directly with the designer working on your site. This allows for miscommunication along with delayed responses to questions you may have.
Everything we do at Lifted Logic is done in-house. Design, development, videography, photography, and copywriting are all done in the same office. If a designer has a question for a developer (or a copywriter) they can walk over and ask them. There’s no phone tag or waiting to hear back on an email. The constant communication between employees helps us to produce the best product possible.
Will you get to work directly with a designer or will you only be meeting with an account rep?
Constantly going through a third party can create confusion between the client and developer, limit creativity, and waste time. Each of our clients has a project manager who is their main point of contact for their website from start to finish, but also have direct access to the designer and developer. During our process, after initial meetings with our Adam, our owner, and a project manager the next meeting is with the client and the designer. This meeting helps the designer to get a better feel for exactly what the client wants their website to look like.
Does the company understand marketing, advertising, & design or are they just coding and management?
The goals you have for your website will dictate how big of a factor this is. If you’re looking for a way to market, promote, increase leads, and convert those leads you’ll want to choose a web design company that understands how to do all those things, rather than one who is limited to only building websites.
