About the Role

Position Summary

The Website Launch & Server Specialist at Lifted Logic is responsible for launching client websites, managing domains and hosting environments, and ensuring stable performance across all servers.

This role supports the final stages of web production through launch, as well as the ongoing maintenance and decommissioning of hosting accounts, domain transitions, and client support for server-related issues. You will work closely with developers, project managers, support staff, and accounting to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch multiple WordPress websites weekly, including WordPress specific configurations, full domain transition, SSL setup, DNS updates, and final QA review
  • Ensure proper redirect implementation from old URLs to new site URLs to preserve SEO integrity
  • Run SEMrush technical audits and flag issues for development to resolve
  • Call clients to obtain or troubleshoot domain login credentials and access issues
  • Check domain access and DNS permissions in advance of each week’s launches
  • Perform non-Lifted Logic website migrations onto our servers, ensuring full site functionality and security
  • Review domain ownership and access status for upcoming launches each Friday

Monthly Responsibilities

  • Audit Lifted Logic servers using monthly hosting reports to identify and resolve hosting issues
  • Revoke software licenses for any clients who are no longer hosting with us
  • Collaborate with Accounting to update records of active hosting clients

As Needed

  • Partner with Accounting to identify and archive inactive hosting accounts
  • Coordinate takedown of websites for clients with unpaid hosting or cancelled services
  • Set up SMTP email relay tools to ensure reliable form delivery and troubleshoot support tickets related to email functionality
  • Work with Development and Support to improve hosting efficiency and performance

Qualifications

  • 2+ years working in a web hosting, IT, or technical support role preferred
  • Familiarity with WordPress, WP Engine (or similar managed hosting platforms), and domain registrars (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.)
  • Understanding of DNS, SSL certificates, nameservers, email SMTP configuration, and server-side troubleshooting
  • Comfortable navigating and communicating with both technical and non-technical clients
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and ticketing systems (Teamwork or similar)

Please note: Lifted Logic operates on a hybrid work scheduled and all employees are required to be in office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday)
