About the Role

Position Summary

The Senior Marketing Strategist leads strategy across a portfolio of client accounts at Lifted Logic, a digital agency in Overland Park, KS. You are the strategic brain behind each account — the person responsible for knowing what’s working, what isn’t, and what to do next. This role is client-facing and performance-driven. You’ll lead strategy calls, review data across SEO, PPC, email, CRM, and web, and translate that data into clear priorities and recommendations. You work closely with account managers, writers, designers, PPC specialists, and CRM specialists to make sure execution stays aligned with strategy — but the strategic direction is yours to own.

This is not a content creation role. You will guide content strategy and marketing priorities, but you will not be writing blogs, editing copy, or executing campaigns yourself. If you’ve spent your career as the person who decides what gets done and why, rather than the person who does it, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own marketing strategy for a portfolio of active client accounts
  • Develop and maintain goal-driven marketing roadmaps tied to measurable business outcomes
  • Lead client strategy meetings — presenting performance insights, identifying priorities, and recommending next steps
  • Review and interpret performance data across SEO, PPC, email marketing, CRM, and web analytics
  • Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations that clients and internal teams can act on
  • Coordinate with internal execution teams to ensure deliverables align with strategy, scope, and timelines
  • Identify risks, gaps, and growth opportunities across accounts and proactively address them
  • Maintain thorough documentation, meeting notes, and reporting for each account
  • Contribute to internal process improvements and strategic frameworks

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy, preferably in an agency or consulting environment
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO, content strategy, CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.), email marketing, and paid media
  • Proven experience managing strategy across multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Comfortable leading conversations with business owners, marketing directors, and C-suite stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset — you’re comfortable in Google Analytics, Search Console, and reporting dashboards
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize based on impact, not just urgency
  • Experience working within defined scopes of work and client contracts

Please note: Lifted Logic operates on a hybrid work scheduled and all employees are required to be in office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday)
