Social Media vs. Blogging on Your Website – Which is the better marketing strategy?

by Lifted Logic

One of the most common questions we get from customers is what’s more effective for promoting their website? Social Media or blogging? Our answer is unmistakably, both!!

Both are very effective ways of reaching a large customer base if done properly.  However, we always follow that by saying that your website is permanent.  Social media is not. Remember how MySpace came and went?  Don’t put all your time into the latest and greatest social media website only to see it die and you lose all your content. If you post to your website, you can set it up to auto-feed to different social media sites, which is the best of all worlds.
