About the Role
Position Summary
Using user research methods, data, and best practices, an Web Strategist creates the structure and long-term vision for a website project. The Web Strategist works with the content and design teams to align the Web design with business objectives, user needs, and technical requirements. A Web strategist is also involved in performing keyword research, building site architecture, developing user personas, and constructing customer journey maps. The Web Strategist, plays a pivotal role in shaping the overall user experience of our digital products and websites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including writers, designers, developers, project managers, and clients to define and implement user-centric strategies that align with each business’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on client’s market, audience, SEO, and past performance.
- Create customer journey map and site architecture.
- Create strategic content plan that encapsulates project scope, client goals, SEO insights, and user experience.
- Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, personas, needs, and pain points.
- Analyze user data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement in the user experience.
Essential Job Functions
- Understand and make recommendations on website’s information architecture, site navigation, and basic user flow.
- Collaborating with internal and external copywriters to ensure client’s goals are met and a meaningful story is told
- Create site map and page architecture.
- Implement client brand guidelines regarding voice and tone.
- Lead Q&A meetings with clients for content collection purposes.
- Participate in internal meetings, including operational overviews, project status check-ins, brainstorming sessions, and other trainings as needed.
- Web Strategy Development:
-Develop and articulate a comprehensive Web strategy that aligns with business objectives.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Web strategy into the product development process.
- Information Architecture:
-Define and optimize information architecture for digital products to enhance usability and accessibility.
-Work closely with designers to ensure a seamless and intuitive user flow.
- Usability Testing:
-Plan and execute usability testing to gather valuable insights and validate design decisions.
-Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.
- Collaboration and Communication
-Work closely with project managers, designers, writers, and developers to ensure a cohesive and user-centered product experience.
-Clearly communicate Web strategies and design rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Position Requirements
- Understand and make recommendations on website’s information architecture, site navigation, and basic user flow.

- Create site map and page architecture.
- Implement client brand guidelines regarding voice and tone.
- Lead Q&A meetings with clients for content collection purposes.
- Participate in internal meetings, including operational overviews, project status check-ins, brainstorming sessions, and other trainings as needed.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and desire to ask the right questions.
- Knowledge of writing mechanics, including grammar, syntax, voice, and tone in both writing and editing applications.
- Comprehension of principles of storytelling.
- Knowledge of word processing programs, including Microsoft and Google Drive products.
- Either:
- Proven self-taught writing abilities (assessment required);
- Degree in English, Creative Writing, Communication, or other related field (Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology); or
- 3 or more years of professional writing, design, or marketing experience.
- Ability to learn, process, and implement new information quickly and effectively.
- Willingness to collaborate with content and other departments and receive constructive criticism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with industry tools such as Google Suite, Adobe, Figma, etc.
- Knowledge of SEO, Web principles, Google Analytics, and/or marketing a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful Web strategy and design projects.
- Proficiency in user research methods, information architecture, and usability testing.
Please note: Lifted Logic operates on a hybrid work scheduled and all employees are required to be in office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday)
