Description:

As a Full-Time Bookkeeper with Lifted Logic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients’ accounting processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality accounting services to a diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, updating ledgers, and reconciling accounts.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets, to provide insights into clients’ financial performance.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with payroll processing, including calculating employee wages, preparing payroll tax returns, and maintaining payroll records.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and best practices to maintain compliance and uphold industry standards.
  • Responding to customer questions and resolving issues
  • Clerical functions such as billing, estimates, monthly statements, etc.
  • Treasury functions such as bank deposits, manual wire payments, and credit card transactions
  • Making collection calls on outstanding accounts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) working as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
  • Certification as a Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or willingness to pursue certification is a plus
