No/Yes. Yes/No. Microsoft was a start-up. So was Apple. In that vein, so were we. Lifted Logic started as 1Dawg. Our founder, Adam Fichman, was a college student working with other college students in their garage. They became the first business to send a video from the internet to a cell phone. Who knew, right?? Well, they did. Adam moved on to start Lifted Logic, which has transformed thousands of companies since 2007.
Over the years, we’ve found that the conversation about what makes a “good” website has become more and more subjective. Let’s not forget that a new website can be a huge marketing investment, so of course you’d want to know whether or not it’s worth allocating the money for a redesign. Here are the three questions we’ll ask ourselves (and you too) about whether or not you need a new website.
Notice there isn’t any question about the design. Even as a premier web design agency, we could care less about what your website looks like. (Okay, maybe we care a little. Don’t tell the designers we said that.) What we care about is that it makes you a decent return on your investment of time and money to maintain.
While 75% of our builds use a WordPress base that we custom design/build on top of, we have a team of object-oriented programmers (developers) who are platform agnostic. We meet with each client before signing a contract to establish what the best platform or “tool” is for their project based on its goals and budget.
We are a reverse-bid shop. This means we take the budget you have and work backwards to determine the scope of work to ensure you have a completed project within your financial means. If you do not know what your budget is, our team can help you set one to help you achieve the ROI you’re looking for!
Absolutely. Use our online cost calculator. Answer 8 quick questions and we’ll reach out with you personalized quote. It’s that easy.
Of course, you can also call us anytime with your questions. We won’t bite, and we don’t do schmoozy sales routines. We just think the more you know about SEO, the better your knowledge on how websites and web searches function, the more you’ll like what we do.
Absolutely! Strategizing with our clients and putting together a plan that makes sense for your industry, target audience, and business model is one of our favorite things to do. We love it so much, we made it a part of our web design process. If you’re not sure where to start, you can always schedule a one-hour consultation to learn more about which marketing channels may be the best place to spend your time and effort.
Nope! You don’t need to be in the KC area to work with our team at Lifted Logic. We’re obviously tech nerds, so we’re used to working remotely with a lot of our clients. We can come to you as needed, for photo/video shoots, most often. Our project managers are amazing at keeping everyone on track and in the loop, no matter where you may be in the world.
Not to brag, but we’ve been around the block a time or two. The great thing is that because we don’t have one particular “niche” we have created a culture that revolves around constant learning and pivoting, which makes each of the websites we create that much more unique. If we had to sum it up, here’s a quick list of industries we have experience building websites for:
You sure can. Feel free to come hang out, have a cup of coffee, and meet the team anytime. However, if you’re looking for a sit-down meeting with our owner or one of our team members, we highly suggest you schedule an appointment in advance, as we often have meetings that take us all over the city. So the chances of you dropping in at just the right time to where we’re in town and free to chat are somewhat low. We also host the occasional beer-pong tournament or round-table marketing discussion event. If you would like to be the first to hear about our upcoming events, be sure to sign up for our newsletter.
The web is a crazy, ever-changing place. While we cannot guarantee any specific results such as rank/SEO or conversions, we do our best from the start of the process to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding your goals and KPIs. And if we don’t think we can hit them, we won’t take the project.
Absolutely! Just let our team know what you have in mind and we can provide you a quote for the approximate number of hours needed.
While we can perform SEO marketing without having built your website, we prefer not to. Funny enough, we have an analogy for why!
We like to think of your business as a car. The design of your website is like the car body. We can make it pretty and shiny and enjoyable to be in. The development of your website is like the engine. It’s what makes things functional. And the SEO marketing we perform gets you where you want to go, just like a steering wheel!
While we do our best to market for websites we haven’t designed, there’s only so much a steering wheel can do if the engine doesn’t work and the bumpers are falling off!
We want your users’ experience with your site to be all around seamless. Often marketing efforts go unrewarded when the site as a whole needs a reboot. So while the answer to this question is technically yes, we highly encourage upgrading your website with prior to our marketing campaigns.
Usually for at least one position within the company. That said, we’re always in the market for intelligent, high performance candidates looking to expand their knowledge in the world of SEO, marketing, media, and web design.
The best part about Kansas City barbecue is that depending on who you ask, you’ll get a different answer every time. Some of our top collective favorites include Joe’s, Jackstack, Jones BBQ, Gates, and Zarda.
The best way to reach out for questions or clarification on an invoice is to contact our accounting department at accounting@liftedlogic.com. You can also contact your Project Manager directly and he or she can help get the answers you need!

If the technical issue is on a staging website that is not yet live, your PM can show you how to pin this on your website as a “bug,” which will get dispatched to the dedicated developer on your project.
If the issue is on a live website, we recommend you contact our Support Department for the most prompt assistance.
