It provides community-based programs focused on early work experience, employment services, social enrichment, and community integration, often delivered through its social enterprises such as retail markets, catering services, gardens, and an art studio.
Care Beyond the Boulevard delivers high-quality medical and mental health care to Kansas City’s homeless, uninsured, and underserved populations, focusing on care provided outside traditional healthcare settings. Its mission is to ensure that vulnerable individuals have access to compassionate, consistent medical and mental health support regardless of financial or social circumstances, working to advance healthcare equality and social change in the community.
The Grandview Assistance Program (GAP) strengthens the safety net for families in moments of crisis. For over 25 years, they’ve provided groceries, emergency rent and utility assistance, and school supplies to Grandview residents—providing stability. Their mission to ensure no neighbor goes without basic necessities not only keeps families in their homes, but also empowers them to overcome hardship and regain independence.
Lyrik’s Institution is dedicated to reducing crime and violence by helping young adults in Kansas City transform destructive thinking patterns into productive behaviors through cognitive-based programs and creative arts interventions.
The Will White Foundation provides funding, resources, and support for families facing critical fetal diagnoses. The organization partners with Children’s Mercy Hospital, particularly the Fetal Health Center and Palliative Care teams, raising and donating funds through community-driven events and annual fundraisers to assist families in crisis and advance compassionate care initiatives.
